About Me

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. In addition, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology. I’m a professional member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors who is responsible for the regulation and accountability of counsellors in the province. My approach to counselling uses humanistic techniques from theories such as person-centered, narrative, and existential therapy. At times, I may draw from other areas of knowledge to best fit your needs. I hold strong values of inclusion, respect, integrity, and collaboration within my therapeutic practice. This means I continually make efforts to have you be an equal part of the therapeutic process and encourage any feedback you may have regarding improvements to your care. As a woman of colour, it is imperative that I take a firm stance on working from an anti-oppressive, intersectional, and relational framework. If you have further questions regarding me, the services I provide, or anything that I have on my website, please don’t hesitate to book a free 20 minute consultation :)
