Services Available

I am currently accepting new clients for individual (50 minute) sessions either virtually or over the phone. I offer counselling to adults of all ages and specialize in working with youth and young adults.

I look forward to connecting with client community members on whatever it is they would like to personally address in our time together. With that said, here is a brief list of topics that regularly come up in my work and fall within my scope of practice:

  • Identifying, regulating, and processing emotional experiences

  • Exploring past traumas including systemic, intergenerational, domestic, childhood, sexual, etc.

  • Working through unpredictability and big life changes

  • Discovering and connecting to racial/cultural identity

  • Navigating various types of relationships including peers, parent/child, partnerships, friendships, family members, institutional, etc.

  • Creating space for grief, loss, and unpacking systemic violence and oppression

  • Deconstructing internalized oppressions and expanding contributions to collective justice

  • Embodying joy, self compassion, and self-celebration

  • Managing self harm and suicidal ideation through an anti-carceral and harm-reduction lens

Rates

I offer sliding scale sessions to half of my clients in an attempt to increase accessibility and engage in continued mutual aid. For folks who find themselves outside of marginalized communities and who are able/willing, can contribute to this initiative through my community contribution rate.

I am currently centering my practice towards fellow QTBIPOC folks, for those of you who are part of this community you can access my services through my standard rate. For folks who are a part of larger dominant circles (e.g. White, cis, financially stable, etc.), you can access my services through my Non-QTBIPOC rate.

I centre my practice connecting with fellow QTBIPOC kin and set my rates with folks based on positionality and intersectionality, as defined by Linda Alcoff and Kimberlé Crenshaw respectively.
